Be a part of the Emrg+N+See Response Team:
Conscious, eagle-eyed Rangers WANTED to Volunteer at Emrg+N+See Festival: July 16-20.
Emrg+N+See is extending a VERY SPECIAL INVITATION to you and your fellow Rangers (or folks with a similar level of experience and intention), to come help Emrg+N+See provide a safe and cosmically-contained festival experience. Unlike our regular volunteer positions, this volunteer opportunity comes with some very specific perks, as YOUR specific skillset is required to help us meet some very specific needs.
What we need your help with:
- The primary purpose of your presence at Emrg+N+See will be to help us ensure that the right folks are admitted gracefully and smoothly into the festival. You will be the immovable “fulcrum point” between Box Office and Parking: checking wristbands, sort-of-inspecting entering vehicles, and providing information to folks who may not be in compliance with our rules to help them get into compliance so they can join us.
- In addition to “fulcrum point” duties, we will also require your skills at positions throughout the realm to identify “lost souls” who may be trying to enter our little piece of heaven by the wrong entrance. Your job will be to provide “divine intervention” before it’s too late, and to provide “divine guidance” to help them to the proper route to salvation. Of course, souls do seem to get lost more often around those witching hours, so these shifts will be round-the-clock.
How we plan to nourish you and extend our gratitude (ie: the Perks):
- NO Cost to you: unlike our regular volunteers (who pay up front and are then reimbursed after fulfilling their duties), no money need change hands. (Unfortunately, we can’t pay you because of legal issues.)
- Lots of time to enjoy the festival in your off-time: (see “shifts” below). See our website for lineup and other offerings.
- A very dope t-shirt of your very very own.
- A VERY dope (better than a SIGG) eco-usable stainless steel water bottle($20 value)…of your very very own for ever and ever.
- Mealplan privleges: that’s right..you get the foodies from our staff kitchen.
All we ask:
- Fulfill your shifts commitment with integrity, grace, compassion, and a firm understanding of the rules designed to keep everybody safe.
- Report for duty clear and conscious.
- (4) four-hour shifts(give or take 30 min for changeovers). You may combine them into single, longer shifts if you wish.

- We will need your assistance beginning Early Thursday July 16, through the main thrust of the event (fri-sat-sun), and wrapping up monday morning (July 20) around dawn.

We are currently seeking a deeply dedicated and generous person (or two) to help us manage the Emrg+N+See Response Team. While our core crew could handle it ourselves, we’d TRULY LOVE to bring another incredible person(s) into our growing family, and entrust the on-the-ground operations management of these duties to your care while providing administrative support and guidance to help you keep it running smooth.
